Train The Teacher (TTT) are proud to offer the Cambridge Certificate in English Teaching in Mainland China.
The course length is 120 hours online and a further 30 hours face to face, and designed by Cambridge to cover a very
broad range of teaching skills and learner needs.
The course has full tutorial support from TTT in highly interactive and very practical training. We use the latest methods and carefully selected and designed material to provide fully engaged and committed training and to ensure that each trainee reaches his or her maximum potential as a teacher.
Who is the CELT-P and CELT-S for?
Both CELT-P and CELT-S are designed for teachers in compulsory education in state or private schools. They are not specifically suitable for teachers in language schools.
Entry requirements for applicants are:
written and spoken English appropriate to a teacher of English
current employment as a teacher
computer skills and access to internet

Cambridge English Language Teacher Certificate for Primary (CELT-P)
Cambridge English Language Teacher Certificate for Secondary (CELT-S)
Instructors have one of the following as a minimum qualification:
Cambridge Diploma (DELTA – Diploma in Teaching English as a Foreign Language to Adults)
Trinity College London Licentiate Diploma TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages)
PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate of Education) in TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language)
Qualification in English language teaching of at least equivalent content and depth to the above, i.e. placed at Level 7 (Master’s Degree) within the UK Qualifications & Credit Framework or a recognised equivalent in or outside the UK.
